Dear Alli,
My first journal! Well, not really my first, but the first since I was a teenie-bopper. I figured I should start writing down some of the things I see and do in the lands I have now seemed to move into. I bought about three journals, each with twenty-five pages each, so each one I’ll be sure to list with the appropriate name. This is the first, and therefore begins with the letter A – A for Alli. I always liked the name Alli. It’s a shame my parents could not have more taste when they choose my middle name, but at least they did well on my first name!
In other news, just to catch up on life, I’ve recently relocated into the lands of Rhydin. It’s a series of islands in some unnamed sea (or perhaps more of a sea with so many names, one cannot be used for it alone). The lands of Rhydin is a very large place with many different types of people, many of which I have only read stories about. It seems that werewolves, vampires, elves, and so many others are simply common folk about here, though at home, it seemed we were all humans, or…perhaps that was just my naïve viewpoint.
I still travel back to my homelands often, to see Mum and Da’ and Loki, my pooch who I think will simply be safer back at home with them. He’s always super hyper when I go back to see him, but it’s expected.
It’s great being in these lands though! I have gotten to spend a lot of time meeting new people and learning how to mix more bar drinks!
I guess the real reason I ventured down into these lands though was because Cyn and Nyx are here. Visiting their parents one weekend, they told me of whispers filled with tales of their twin daughters, dropping hints of where I might be able to find them. Their father encouraged me to at least find them and see if they were still doing all of their training and all else as they should. I’d glad to say they really have been and still destroying as much as they had in Centinal City.
No other news really. I finally have about a month off away from my other work, as my agent has been gracious enough to not find me any work (mainly because I threatened to find a new one if he did). The land of Rhydin seems to lack that type of work, and while it is slightly a disappointment, it does make this land a tad bit more relaxing.
By My Hand,
Brianne A. Alcinoos
